I think I am becoming a god
According to the LA Times (get a login here if you need it), the state of Florida has ordered American historians to be infallible and omniscient.
"The history of the United States shall be taught as genuine history and shall not follow the revisionist or postmodernist viewpoints of relative truth," declares Florida's Education Omnibus Bill, signed by Gov. Jeb Bush. "American history shall be viewed as factual, not as constructed."Uh ... we'll get right on that. Just as soon as we figure out what the heck the "revisionist viewpoint" of history is.
Update: An important correction to the article is here.

Can't wait until this one makes it to the history books, later to be reinterpreted based on 20/20 hindsight...
(Sorry, it just had to be said...)
