As hard as that is to believe, Mr. Wilson, I must believe it for two reasons.
(1) I trust you enough to believe you.
(2) I also watched the game. :-p
I thought it a rather good game; if I have to pick one football game of the year to watch (which is usually how it turns out), the Rose Bowl is usually a good choice. And this time, I didn't even particularly care which team won.
Okay, okay, so I never particularly care which team wins. ^_^

I used to watch college football fairly often, you know. Only when I had a connection with one of the teams, of course -- generally when an Aggie or UT game was being televised.

I'm still not sure I believe you... but since Martinez also claims to have watched it, and I would never call bullshit on him, I guess I'll allow for the slim possibility that you also actually watched football. I mean, it is the Rose Bowl... and I know I watched it... and I'm SURE my upstairs neighbors did (stupid, loud, drunk college students from Kilgore College... grrr....) Heck, even Anna watched it... maybe the whole world watches the Rose Bowl.

I certainly didn't watch it. I forgot about it until I was at the edge of sleep... then suddenly my neighbors below were yelling "f yeah! go Texas!!" I was quite surprised, not by the language, but that I *had* neighbors downstairs! Having never heard them before, I assumed the apartment was empty.
