Best Tantrum Ever

I can't help but suspect I'm missing out on something by not having this translated for me.

On the other hand, primal screams are pretty universal; no translation needed for that.

(Incidentally, I think I may have to try that; it looks therapeutic.)

Also, that woman must be one of the most unflappable I have ever seen.

I must admit I was not quite expecting that man to possess such acrobatic agility. I'm rather impressed.

I'm thinking they need an exorcist right there.
Get me a young priest and an old priest, stat!

Now boys, don't go picking on people until you know the whole story.

Who knows what the other gentleman might have said.

I don't suppose our resident foreign language expert would care to help with that?

She does not speak Arabic. Yet.

My brother the Arabic linguist says they're not speaking Arabic, and guesses it might be Turkish.

Apparently "it might be Turkish" was my cue to step in . . . I dutifully popped the video off to my cousin and she and her dad came up with the following:

"It's difficult to tell exactly what they're talking about from such a short clip. The first man says he "stopped in the air" and "there were witnesses". He said "we were going to Kayseri (south of Ankara a couple of hours) to catch a bus; we stopped in the air and there were witnesses". The other man interrupts, asks him his name, the first man doesn't give his name, just repeats that there were witnesses. The second man says the first man is saying something that is unbelievable ("I jumped 70 arşın (about 50
yards)"). At this point the man jumps off the couch."

So, there you have it, folks. Dude threw a tantrum because he was telling a tall tale and got called on it. Kinda makes sense. That said, I'm still having trouble dreaming up a scenario wherein that reaction would be justified and not qualify as grounds for institutionalization.
