Well.....
I accepted a job today offered to me for teaching ninth grade Algebra I at Pine Tree Junior High. Today Josh and I will go apartment hunting because we have to move out in just over a week. Yes, we are staying in Longview for the year. Now we need to find something for Josh...
Posted by Anna at June 16, 2005 12:09 PM | TrackBackHey ho! Congratulations. I think you are very brave to be willing to teach Albegra. I suppose it helps if you understand it....
Was that last sentence an open invitation for job suggestions for the ol' Cynic?
*looks hopeful*
Posted by: Ma Hoyt at June 16, 2005 01:34 PMCongrats my friend! God has provided, how exciting! I know it may not have been exactly what you were looking for, but it'll be good. And you'll be in my home town, so whenever I come home...
Speaking of which, I'll be home this weekend. If you're free, maybe some ice cream?
Posted by: Ashley at June 16, 2005 05:05 PMumm. Ma: well, we are open to just about anything right now, especially YOUR advice :-p
Ashley: !!!YAY!!! of course!!!
Posted by: anna at June 16, 2005 06:56 PMCongrats Anna, I guess the 'ole crew will hang for a little while longer. Minus Ardith, as she will be busy in 3rd world countries.
Posted by: Moore at June 17, 2005 09:20 AMCongratulations, and remember: God is good, even if we don't always agree with His decisions.
We'll look forward to seeing you two around from time to time.
Posted by: Martinez at June 17, 2005 03:01 PMwhat is Ardith doing in 3rd world countries?
And I'm happy that we'll be a bit closer for a bit longer... well, I guess we never have been. Maybe that's the problem.
Congratulations on the job, hon.
Posted by: Morgan at June 18, 2005 11:21 AMContrary to popular opinion, Iowa is not a third-world country. Not if I can eat steak for dinner and make Moore royally jealous.
I should make cookies sometime...
Posted by: Ardith at June 18, 2005 06:19 PMIt should be noted that Argentina, a third-world country, is known for its steak.
Posted by: Moore at June 22, 2005 01:10 PMFirst jobs are exciting no matter what.. very cool to get an offer so soon!
Josh's shouldn't be too far behind!
